DIY Droppods: WIP

So here are two of my scratch-built ("do it yourself") droppods. They aren't finished yet (they for example clearly aren't painted yet), but here's already a WIP pic:

I could also use them as pieces of scenery I guess. :-)

First Jungle Terrain Pieces DONE!

So I have finished my first 4 Jungle Terrain Pieces: 1 pyramid, 2 wall sections, and 1 forrest.

Will try to add individual pics of the pieces this week.

Jungle Scenery: First paint and sand

As title says:

The pictures are a bit misleading as the first two in real life look like the wall (same dark brown) and the last one (pyramide) looks more brown (and less red).

From empthy bases to some walls and stones

So my Pyramide isn't the only thing I have now. I also made these wall sections and started on my Jungle Forrest:

More bases for my Jungle terrain

So today I bought a better saw.

The new one is better for lots of reasons:
- thinner blade so easier to saw curves
- bigger U-handle so easier to saw large pieces
- new blade instead of old and rusty :-D

I also found some old GW Jungle trees. Not sure if I will be using them for my Jungle table. But we'll see. ;-)

Minas Tirith Warriors

Hey,


I'm planning to learn my girlfriend how to paint, and so I assembled some old Minas Tirith models I had laying around.

As you can see, we will each be painting 6 warriors.
